Saturday Trip Update

The Plan:

• 7:30AM - Meet at the gear store
• 8:15AM latest - Leave the gear store
• 9:00AM - Get to start point for Ben Ime 
• 9:15AM - Set off from the bus
• 3:00PM to 4:00PM - Back at bus
• 3:30PM to 4:30PM - Get chips in Arrochar (or near by)
• 4:00PM to 5:00PM - Set off back to Glasgow
• 5:00PM to 6:00PM - Back at university

The Weather Forecast

• Westerly 15 to 20mph winds
• A few drizzly showers
• Typical cloud base on western hillsvarying between 600 and 800m with few breaks above. Well inland, by late morning nearly all cloud above 800 or 900m with some higher summits clearing - whilst on other tops and in some corries cloud persists all day
• 20% chance of a cloud free munro
• 5 - 6 C at 900m

All in all we have a good forecast, we may be lucky with the clouds and this forecast will change over the next few days.
